⛏️ Solo miner wins $210,000 block reward with 1 in 28,000 odds A miner running just 230 terahash per second — roughly 0.00002% of Bitcoin's total network hashrate — successfully mined block 943,411 on April 6, earning 3.139 BTC worth approximately $210,000. The miner was connected to https://t.co/uYsLV1EDE2, the anonymous solo mining service that allows operators to keep the entire block reward minus a 2% fee. CKpool developer Con Kolivas confirmed the win, noting the miner faced approximately 1 in 28,000 daily odds of finding a block. The result marks the 312th solo win recorded on CKpool since its 2014 launch, and the first since February 28. Over the past 12 months, solo pools have found 20 Bitcoin blocks totalling 62.96 BTC, averaging one solo block every 18.7 days. The latest win follows a string of unlikely results: in November, a miner with just 6 TH/s overcame 1 in 180 million odds to earn ~$265,000, and in late February a miner converted roughly $75 of rented cloud hashrate into a $200,000 reward. https://t.co/xddOqWXZDd
