By sell the news I mean selling the things people expected to pump on the news--defensive assets. For risk assets it's the opposite. Bitcoin defying expectation with a sharp rebound doesn't indicate people have decided to treat it like a defensive asset this weekend, but rather is an early sign the market is treating the event as a risk reversal.
