The problem with art collections is that all the degens are minting them because of the recent success of Gift of Times, Symmetria, Arcades and a few others. This is bad for both the artists and the minters. - For the minters: they mint art collections hoping they’ll become the next 10–20x play and when that doesn’t happen they start undercutting each other causing the floor price to tank. - For the artists: degens are not their target audience and if the degens don’t profit from the mint, the floor price crashes and the minters end up fudding the artist. Not to mention, people are only minting recent art collections because of the low supply and mint price. Apart from that, they know nothing about the artist. Art collections are better with collectors, not degens.
