ARTICLE 2 — @Americanfort_io : Funding, AF, and the Story Behind It 1. Funding AmericanFortress raised $8M in seed funding in May 2026, according to Preqin and other funding sources. 2. Notable Investors The seed round included SAVA Investment Management, Moon Pursuit Capital, and 0G Labs. 3. Founder The founder/CEO is Michal Pospieszalski, who is presented by the company with a background in cybersecurity and blockchain. 4. Technical Team The website currently lists Jakub Rojek as a Senior Software Developer and Vincenzo Botta, PhD, responsible for cryptography, privacy-preserving protocols, and zero-knowledge systems. 5. AF Token AF is currently described as a proposed utility token, serving name-registry and privacy-layer operations; launch timing is still subject to technical and legal review. 6. Token Utility According to the current proposal, a portion of revenue from FortressName and some protocol fees may be used for token buybacks; the final rate and burn mechanics have not been officially announced. 7. Key Differences AF should not yet be considered a complete tokenomics, as the project itself clearly states that utility, network availability, and launch timing may change after the review process. 8. Product Launch AmericanFortress has deployed a beta privacy infrastructure on Arbitrum for institutional and high-volume DeFi users since May 2026. 9. Wallet The wallet is currently in beta for macOS; the website indicates that Windows is pending announcement, while production availability depends on each release. 10. What I Will Watch The three most important things are SDK integrations → actual user/transaction volume → AF token launch & final tokenomics. 11. If the SDK is successful, AmericanFortress could transition from a “single privacy wallet” model to a privacy middleware model used by multiple wallets, exchanges, applications, and AI agents. The project's SDK is designed with this in mind.
