ANTHROPIC PLANS TO COMMIT $48 BILLION TO PUBLIC BENEFIT. Anthropic plans to allocate 5% of its shares, worth approximately $48 billion based on its May valuation, to a new public benefit fund. And that stake could grow. Anthropic may contribute another 2% of its shares for every 50% increase in valuation. The initial commitment still needs shareholder approval.
