Morgan Stanley reportedly cut its $AMD AI GPU forecast for 2026 through 2030 from 14.1 million units to 8 million, roughly 43% lower, while leaving $NVDA unchanged. That's a big haircut, and I think it weighs on the stock early Monday, especially with semis already this shaky. I'm not panicking on it, though. Lisa Su recently said demand is running ahead of supply and they're adding a lot more capacity in 2027, and it sounds like MS is actually more upbeat on AMD's server CPUs than the GPUs. To me this reads more like a question of how much AMD can ship next to Nvidia than demand drying up. Watching how $AMD trades at the open and whether anyone else follows with cuts before earnings.
