Tim Cook, after 15 years at the helm, moves to Executive Chairman, continuing to handle relations with the US and China. Ternus, 51, steps in just ahead of Apple's fall product lineup, including the first foldable iPhone. His biggest focus: pushing Apple's AI push, an area the company has faced criticism for lagging behind.
