Therefore, these features could still be added in iOS 27.0 or deferred to later updates such as iOS 27.1. The most notable change involves how Siri connects with AI services. iOS 27 introduces an interface allowing users to switch between AI sources, but currently only two options are available: Siri and ChatGPT. According to Mark Gurman, this suggests Apple has laid the groundwork to integrate additional third-party AI models, though expansion to more services has not yet occurred.
