An AI trading agent with a public wallet address is a poker player with face-up cards. Every position, every rebalance, every strategy - visible to anyone with a block explorer. Copy-trading bots do not even need to be smart. They just need to watch. This is the use case @Americanfort_io and 0G Labs pointed at in January: an "AI-native private trading stack." The thesis is simple. Agents will not trade on infrastructure that leaks their edge. Privacy is not a feature for the machine economy. It is the precondition. Think about what an agent actually needs: - A stable identity counterparties can trust (a name, not a hex string) - Fresh addresses per relationship, so no one can map its full activity - Selective disclosure, so it can prove solvency to a venue without doxxing its book That is, almost verbatim, the AmericanFortress design: FortressName, per-counterparty stealth addresses, no mixers. Now the honest part. The 0G partnership was announced in January; what is actually running on it remains unclear, and the project's mainnet wallet has not shipped. So treat this as a thesis to track, not a product to use. But the thesis itself is directionally right. Humans adopted crypto despite transparent addresses. Agents will not. The first serious machine economy will be built on private rails, or it will not be built at all.
