AI agents are going to make payments very differently from people. A person might send a few transactions a week. An autonomous agent could make hundreds. Now imagine all of that activity tied to one permanent public wallet. You don’t just see payments. You start seeing the agent’s entire operating graph: who it pays who pays it how often which relationships repeat how much value moves between them That’s why this line from @Americanfort_io 0G Dev Day discussion matters to me: built for people and AI agents. For machine payments, identity and address probably shouldn’t be the same thing. The agent can keep a stable, recognizable @name. But supported payment flows can derive fresh addresses underneath instead of exposing one permanent destination forever. So the identity persists. The payment graph doesn’t have to. That feels much more important once agents start transacting autonomously at scale. For humans, private payment infrastructure is useful. For agents making payments all day, it may become necessary.
