The privacy-focused blockchain Zano has announced that Zenith has entered the implementation phase, with plans to transition to a pure PoS protocol by 2027 and reduce block times to 15 seconds. After Zenith activation, PoW mining will be discontinued; currently, PoW miners receive 720 ZANO per day, approximately 21,600 per month, and about 262,800 annually. Zano co-founder and core developer Andrey Sabelnikov stated that Zenith is built on 12 years of privacy research, aiming to retain privacy protections while gaining the benefits of modern PoS. Zano has also launched its official Zano Forum.
