Citing Blockchainreporter, Zama, an open-source cryptography firm, announced it will launch its Zama Protocol mainnet and conduct a public token sale via a sealed-bid Dutch auction onchain in January. The auction will sell 10 percent of the $ZAMA token supply and will be the first of its kind, using Zama’s Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) to keep bid sizes confidential while making prices public. The token will power the protocol economy, enabling encrypted data processing and verification on public blockchains. Zama’s mainnet will support confidential stablecoins, DeFi, and private tokenization, with partners including Deberrys, Zaiffer, and Orion Finance already developing use cases. The company has raised over $150 million and is valued at more than $1.2 billion.
