In accordance with PANews, Zama has officially launched its Testnet v2, with the mainnet and native token expected to follow soon. Zama is building an encryption layer on top of existing public blockchains using fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) to enable private payments, financial, and transactional functions. The testnet has already seen over 100,000 addresses and 1 million private transactions. Zama's testnet v2 marks the first fully distributed key generation ceremony with its genesis nodes, a milestone in threshold FHE protocol deployment. Developers are building applications such as Zaiffer Protocol, TokenOps, Bron Wallet, and Raycash on the platform. Zama's genesis nodes, selected from over 100 candidates, collectively secure over $10 billion in assets. The project has undergone extensive security audits by multiple firms, making it one of the most audited protocols in the Web3 space.
