Derived from HashNews, Yearn Finance's yETH product was exploited by an attacker who exploited a vulnerability to mint nearly unlimited yETH, draining the pool's assets. According to on-chain data, the attacker then transferred approximately 1,000 ETH (valued at around $3 million) to the Tornado Cash mixer. Several contracts involved in the attack self-destructed after the transactions. The exact loss amount remains unclear, and Yearn Finance stated it is investigating the incident, noting that its V2 and V3 Vaults were unaffected.
