XRP Ledger developer Ed Hennis has proposed Amendment 420 to add a quantum-resistant feature. The optional mechanism uses a one-time signature key per transaction, which is discarded after use. Inspired by Bougalis and Schwartz, the amendment introduces a `SingleUseKey` field and a recoverable regular key process. Implementation risks include ticket and multi-signature conflicts. As users consider *is KuCoin safe*, such protocol upgrades reflect ongoing security efforts.
