ChainThink reports that on July 16, X Product Lead Nikita Bier posted that the X Creator Revenue Sharing Program will update its rules: accounts that post three or more times content encouraging engagement, such as “I’ll follow everyone who replies to me,” will be removed from the program.
The associated accounts will also be handed over to the policy team for suspension. Nearly 4,000 accounts were removed from the program today. Nikita Bier stated that Grok is now able to detect such behavior;
The new model has improved its ability to detect duplicate content by three times compared to the previous model. For repurposed content that has been edited with watermarks, intros, or similar modifications, the monetizable views will be credited to the original creator.
During this cycle, X detected 1.5 million stolen posts. Accounts that repeatedly post duplicate content or intentionally evade detection systems will be removed from the creator monetization program. This adjustment is expected to return over $1 million in earnings to original content creators.
