Several weeks ago, Trump announced on Truth Social his plan to declassify government archives related to extraterrestrial life and unidentified aerial phenomena, and has instructed the Secretary of Defense and relevant agencies to identify and disclose all documents related to UFOs.
Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth confirmed that a review of relevant records is underway, but did not disclose a specific timeline. Former senior defense intelligence official Christopher Mellon stated that the government possesses a large amount of visual evidence never seen by the public, including videos captured by F-18 fighter jet onboard cameras, some of which were classified as non-classified as early as 2018 but have yet to be released to the public.
