ChainThink reports that on July 21, Patrick Witt, Director of the White House Crypto Commission, stated on X that his mandatory training assignment with the Georgia Army National Guard has been postponed, allowing him to continue advancing the CLARITY Act process.
Patrick Witt stated that recent reports suggested he would undergo military training before the CLARITY Act is submitted to the Senate for consideration. He affirmed his continued commitment to fulfilling his service obligations but noted that he is currently able to continue advancing the bill.
Previously, according to Crypto In America, Patrick Witt had planned to begin a multi-month leave later this month to train with the Georgia Army National Guard;
After completing the training, they will be qualified to serve as a JAG officer.
