Vitalik Buterin shared Web3 news on X, stating that core Web3 technologies are maturing. He pointed to Ethereum's PoS transition, ZK-EVM, PeerDAS, and Waku as key developments. Fileverse demonstrates how Web3 adoption can take shape. Vitalik said the stage is set for a decentralization renaissance.

Odaily Planet News: Vitalik posted on the X platform, stating that the vision for Web3 in 2014 was to build a permissionless, decentralized application ecosystem. Although this vision was once overshadowed by various "metas" and "narratives," its core technologies are becoming increasingly robust. Ethereum has now transitioned to Proof-of-Stake (PoS) and is scaling up. ZK-EVM and PeerDAS are effectively realizing the "sharding" vision. The data layer protocol Whisper has evolved into Waku and supports applications like Status. IPFS is performing excellently in decentralized file retrieval.

Vitalik believes that all the prerequisites for the original vision of Web3 are now in place, and it is time to move forward with decentralization. He cited Fileverse as an example, calling it a model of the right approach, as the application uses Ethereum and Gnosis Chain to handle names and accounts. He concluded by stating that a decentralization renaissance is on the horizon.
