According to a ChainCatcher report, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin posted on a social platform, stating that in 2014, he envisioned building a decentralized, permissionless application network based on a technical stack. Today, all the conditions required to realize the original Web3 vision are in place and will continue to improve, and it is now time to build a decentralized world. He mentioned that the decentralized messaging protocol Waku already supports applications such as Railway and Status, and IPFS, as a decentralized file retrieval method, performs strongly, although storage issues still need refinement. Taking Fileverse, a decentralized alternative to Google Docs/Sheets, as an example, its usability has significantly improved. It uses Ethereum and Gnosis Chain for account management, decentralized messaging and storage for document handling, and has passed an "offline test" through open-source development. He criticized the various drawbacks of "bloated enterprise products," citing examples to demonstrate the real risks involved. Today, decentralized applications like Fileverse are already sufficiently user-friendly, and he often uses them for writing and collaborative document editing, in stark contrast to the poor usability of decentralized applications in 2014. He called on builders to join together in embracing a decentralized renaissance.

Vitalik Buterin shared Web3 news on social media, stating that the 2014 Web3 vision is now achievable. He emphasized progress in decentralized protocols such as Waku and IPFS, and cited Fileverse as a working alternative to Google Docs. Buterin urged developers to build a decentralized world, noting that Web3 adoption is now viable for daily use. He criticized enterprise-focused tools and highlighted the usability of decentralized apps, a major shift from early-stage limitations.
