Derived from Bijié Wǎng, Visa is piloting a system that allows businesses to pay directly into stablecoin wallets using dollar-backed stablecoins like USDC, aiming to help creators and freelancers facing cross-border payment delays. The program enables recipients to receive funds in stablecoins while businesses pay in fiat, improving financial access in regions with currency volatility or limited banking services. All transactions are recorded on a public blockchain for transparency. Visa plans to expand the initiative by 2026 as regulatory and customer demand grows.
