The certification addresses growing industry demands for transparency, according to company representatives. The audit assessed infrastructure security, service availability, and user data privacy over several months. ViaBTC, which holds around 12% of the mining pool market share, also offers over 20 cryptocurrencies and operates in 150 countries. In October 2025, it won the 'Mining Pool of the Year' award at the Blockchain Life 2025 forum in Dubai.
