Venus attackers sell 1,912 ETH to repay Aave loan; $6.78M USDT still outstanding

BlockBeats news, on June 15, according to Yujin monitoring, the attacker behind the March Venus THE collateral liquidation event sold 1,912 ETH one hour ago, receiving 3.26 million USDT to repay their loan on Aave. The attacker had previously pledged ETH on Aave to borrow 9.92 million stablecoins, then purchased THE and deposited it into Venus to withdraw other assets, subsequently dumping THE and triggering the liquidation of THE collateral on Venus.

It currently has $6.78 million USDT outstanding on Aave.
