VanEck Gaming ETF to be Renamed Degen Economy ETF in 2026

VanEck revealed on April 8, 2026, that its Gaming ETF will be rebranded as the VanEck Degen Economy ETF. The fund follows the Degen Economy Index, including companies in crypto exchanges, iGaming, digital betting, and food delivery. Each company must earn at least 50% of revenue from these areas. The move coincides with recent ETF inflows in the sector. This is the first ETF to use the term “Degen” in its official name.
