PANews, March 26: According to The Block, USDT0 has launched on Tempo, a payment-focused blockchain co-developed by Stripe and Paradigm. USDT0 is issued under LayerZero’s Omnichain Fungible Token standard and is pegged 1:1 to USDT, enabling “bridgeless” cross-chain transfers via a lock-and-mint/burn mechanism. It has already been deployed on at least 23 networks, including Ethereum mainnet, major Layer 2s, Monad, HyperLiquid, and Bitcoin scaling networks such as Corn, Rootstock, as well as USDT-specific networks Stable and Plasma. Tempo is designed specifically for stablecoin payments, emphasizing high throughput and low fees, with a built-in stablecoin AMM at the protocol level for seamless stablecoin exchanges.
