Storage and AI chip sectors declined broadly: SK Hynix (SKHY) fell over 5%, Western Digital (WDC) and Seagate Technology (STX) dropped about 4%, while SanDisk (SNDK) and Micron Technology (MU) fell more than 3%.
Among other chip stocks, Intel (INTC) fell over 3%, TSMC (TSM) dropped over 2%, and AMD (AMD) declined 1.6%.
