As per BitcoinWorld, South Korea’s leading exchange Upbit has announced a temporary suspension of Zilliqa (ZIL) deposits and withdrawals starting at 9:00 a.m. UTC on November 14. The suspension is in preparation for Zilliqa’s scheduled hard fork, a major network upgrade. During the suspension, ZIL trading will continue normally, but no incoming or outgoing transfers will be allowed. Upbit stated the measure is to ensure network stability and user asset security. The suspension is expected to last 24–48 hours, with services resuming once the hard fork is confirmed complete. ZIL balances will remain secure in user wallets during the period.
