According to ChainThink and PeckShield, the attackers behind the TrustedVolumes breach have laundered approximately $278,000. They deposited 10.2 ETH (about $23,600) into Tornado Cash and transferred 110 ETH (around $250,000) to BTC via THORChain. A 0.5 ETH deposit to Railgun was later refunded. The attack occurred on May 7, 2026, draining approximately $6.7 million. The ETH price remains under close watch, as ETH analysis underscores ongoing risks in DeFi security.
ChainThink reports, according to PeckShield monitoring, the TrustedVolumes attacker has now laundered approximately $278,000 in funds.
It deposited 10.2 ETH (approximately $23,600) into Tornado Cash, laundered 110 ETH (approximately $250,000) into BTC via THORChain, and attempted to deposit 0.5 ETH into Railgun, after which the funds were subsequently refunded.
Previously, TrustedVolumes was attacked on May 7, suffering a loss of approximately $6.7 million.
