The funds will be used to advance yield products based on institutional strategies and cross-chain brokerage services. The protocol focuses on bringing institutional-backed on-chain asset yields to retail users; currently, the total value of institutional-backed assets on-chain is around $36 billion, offering yields exceeding the traditional 3%–5% range of U.S. Treasuries. TownSquare will build yield vaults around stablecoins such as USD1, tokenized gold, USDC, cbBTC, and other RWAs, and is collaborating with partners like World Liberty Financial to advance a $100 million USD1 pipeline initiative.
