The criminals threatened a woman with a gun, tied her up, and stole a USB device containing her partner's cryptocurrency data. After being freed, the victim immediately contacted the police, and the local criminal investigation department has launched an inquiry. Jameson Lopp, Chief Technology Officer at security firm Casa, stated that over 70 cryptocurrency "wrench attacks" (physical threats to obtain cryptocurrency assets) were recorded globally last year.
