Citing MarsBit, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino revealed on December 21 that the company is developing a mobile cryptocurrency wallet with integrated AI features. The wallet will support only Bitcoin (BTC), Tether USD (USDT), its new stablecoin USAT, and tokenized gold token XAUT, using QVAC to integrate on-device private AI. The wallet will be supported by Tether’s open-source wallet development toolkit (WDK) and decentralized AI platform QVAC. Tether is also hiring a chief software engineer for the project.
