With the launch of tether.wallet, this funds distribution network is now open directly to end users for the first time. This release marks Tether’s further expansion in building an open financial system, extending its capabilities into products designed for everyday use.


At launch, tether.wallet supports the following assets and networks:

USDT: Supports Ethereum, Polygon, Plasma, and Arbitrum;
XAUT: Supports Ethereum, Polygon, Plasma, and Arbitrum;
USAT: Supports Ethereum;
Bitcoin: Supports both on-chain transactions and the Lightning Network.

After the initial release, the wallet will integrate with additional blockchains. The app will automatically display available networks and asset balances, abstracting the underlying complex infrastructure from the user experience.
