In accordance with Bitcoin.com, Tether has made an undisclosed investment in Parfin, a crypto services provider in Latin America, to integrate its USDT stablecoin into Parfin’s Crypto-as-a-Service (CAAS) offerings. The move aims to accelerate institutional adoption of USDT in the region, leveraging Parfin’s regulated approach to blockchain solutions. Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino emphasized the importance of bridging traditional finance and blockchain, while Parfin CEO Marcos Viriato noted the investment validates their vision for tokenization and institutional-grade digital assets. The region has recorded nearly $1.5 trillion in crypto transaction volume, highlighting its growing significance in the crypto ecosystem.
