Tangem Wallet has added Aave support, letting users earn yield on USDT, USDC, and DAI from within the app. The new Yield Mode connects to Aave’s liquidity pools without exposing private keys. Aave confirmed the integration on Dec. 11, noting the secure aToken process. Users must approve each action, and all keys remain protected via hardware. Tangem calls this the first step toward a neobank-style crypto experience. What is the next move for Tangem?

Based on Crypto.News, Tangem Wallet has integrated Aave to allow users to earn yield on USDT, USDC, and DAI directly within the app. The new feature, called Yield Mode, enables users to supply stablecoins to Aave’s liquidity pools without leaving the Tangem interface or surrendering control of their private keys. The integration was confirmed in a Dec. 11 note from Aave, which highlighted the seamless and secure process for earning interest through aTokens. The smart contract only activates upon user approval and ensures all operations are tied to hardware-based key protection. Tangem states this is the first step toward a broader 'neobank-style' experience.
