ChainCatcher report: According to Volo’s official announcement, a security vulnerability on the Sui network has resulted in the theft of approximately $3.5 million in assets—including WBTC, XAUm, and USDC—from three specific Volo Vaults. Immediately following the incident, the team notified the Sui Foundation and ecosystem partners, and froze all Vaults to prevent further losses. Volo confirmed that the vulnerability affected only these three Vaults; no similar attack vectors exist in the remaining Vaults, and approximately $28 million in TVL remains secure. The official statement emphasized that Volo will bear full responsibility for the losses and will not pass them on to users. A comprehensive post-incident report and remediation plan will be released upon completion of the investigation.
