Citing TechFlow, payment giant Stripe will launch a stablecoin payment feature on December 12, supporting USDC and other stablecoins on Ethereum, Base, and Polygon networks. The feature is fully integrated into Stripe's optimized checkout suite, allowing existing integrations to use it without code changes. Transaction fees will be 1.5% of the amount (in USD), with no fixed fees, and all transactions will settle in USD into users' existing payment balances.
