Odaily Planet Daily reports that Stripe officially announced on X that it has launched the new Machine Payments Protocol (MPP) feature, allowing users to set up and integrate AI agent payments by simply sending a single prompt to an AI agent. Companies such as @zincdotcom, @agentscoretrust, and @ondbai have already begun accepting machine payments from AI agents via MPP and the x402 protocol.

It is reported that this feature has significantly lowered the barrier to integrating autonomous payments for AI agents, changing it from manually writing code to simply using a single prompt.
