As reported by BeInCrypto, Ethereum staking protocol StakeWise has recovered 5,041 osETH ($19 million) and 13,495 osGNO ($1.7 million) from the Balancer V2 hack. The attack, which occurred on Monday, targeted ETH-related liquidity tokens and caused losses exceeding $120 million. StakeWise used an emergency multisig transaction to retrieve the funds, which will be returned to victims. The firm confirmed that its smart contracts and osETH token were unaffected by the exploit. The recovery may help reduce the risk of stolen tokens being dumped on the market, potentially supporting ETH's price recovery.
