Stablecoin Firm StraitsX Raises $10M to Boost Web3 Payments in Asia

According to Bijiie, stablecoin payment platform StraitsX has secured $10 million in funding from UQPAY and Japan's NTT DOCOMO to accelerate Web3 adoption and expand the use of stablecoins in real-world financial transactions across Asia. The company plans to develop infrastructure integrating fiat payment networks with the Web3 ecosystem, focusing on real-time settlement APIs, cross-border payments via on-chain channels, and stablecoin card issuance in collaboration with RedotPay and VISA.
