Spark, a lending platform, has launched a token buyback program, repurchasing 1.84 million SPK tokens (worth $36,000) as of March 7, 2026. The buybacks, executed through a new multisig wallet and CoW Swap’s TWAP feature, utilize 10% of monthly surplus funds over a 12-month period. $35 million remains in operational reserves. This initiative follows ongoing announcements regarding token launches and new token listings across the crypto market.

PANews, March 7: According to on-chain analyst Yujin, the lending platform Spark transferred 570,000 USDS to a new multisig wallet two days ago and began executing small, multiple purchases of SPK using CoW Swap’s TWAP functionality. To date, Spark has repurchased 1.84 million SPK (worth $36,000). Spark previously approved an SPK buyback proposal, which stipulates that operating reserves—approximately $35 million—will remain untouched in the treasury, and 10% of excess funds each month will be allocated for SPK repurchases. This buyback program is expected to continue for 12 months.
