Derived from 币界网, two blockchain snipers made over $1.3 million during the launch of Base founder Jesse Pollak's creator token, JESSE. The rapid trades were enabled by Base's 'flashblocks' feature, which allows for micro-blocks of 200 milliseconds. A total of 500 million JESSE tokens were injected into liquidity pools, and 261.7 million were bought by automated traders in the same chain block. The top two snipers earned $707,700 and $619,600, respectively. One sniper spent $191,000 to purchase 7.6% of the supply and paid over $44,000 in priority fees to Base's sequencer to secure the trade. After selling the entire allocation, the trader netted over $600,000. The flashblock mechanism, introduced by Base in July, allows bots to detect token deployment transactions and submit high-fee buy orders in the next micro-block, enabling same-blockchain trades. Pollak positions creator tokens as a new collaborative tool between creators and their audiences. As of the report, JESSE has a fully diluted valuation of $13.8 million, $4.4 million in liquidity, and $33.5 million in trading volume, according to CoinMarketCap.
