Sky Protocol Proposes 70M USDS to Expand the Sky Agent Network

PANews, March 15: Sky Protocol (formerly MakerDAO) has proposed allocating approximately 70 million USDS as initial capital (Genesis Capital) to multiple Sky Agents to support further expansion of the Sky Agent Network during its launch phase. These independent capital allocators will participate in capital deployment and provide yield sources for the Sky Savings Rate. According to the proposal, the capital allocation includes: 10 million USDS to Keel Finance; 25 million USDS each to the new executing agents Amatsu and Ozone; and an additional 10 million USDS to be allocated to the sixth launch-phase agent, yet to be announced. If governance approves, the associated fund transfers are expected to be scheduled during the execution vote on March 26. Sky states that this initial capital serves as the foundational funding to launch new agents during the network’s early expansion phase, aiming to promote diversified capital allocation and drive yield generation. The funds remain within the protocol, managed in isolated accounts controlled by governance, and include a gradual exit mechanism—reducing reliance on this capital as agents mature and issue their own liquidity tokens.
