According to Forklog, a statue of Satoshi Nakamoto, the anonymous creator of Bitcoin, was installed at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on December 9, 2025. The sculpture, created by Italian artist Valentina Picozzi, is the sixth of 21 planned statues in the Satoshigallery project. The installation coincided with the 17th anniversary of the Bitcoin whitepaper's release on December 10, 2008. Twenty One Capital organized the event, which the NYSE described as a symbol of the convergence between emerging systems and established institutions.
