Executives from Samsung, SK, and Naver are scheduled to meet NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang in the U.S. ahead of the Vera Rubin AI system launch. The July 24 meeting, near Silicon Valley, will address AI storage, GPU supply, and generative AI services, including HBM4, AI data centers, and cloud infrastructure. Samsung has previously discussed HBM4 supply with NVIDIA, while SK and Naver plan to develop AI factories and cloud platforms. The event coincides with recent AI and crypto-related news and potential token launch announcements.

Odaily Planet Daily report: Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong, SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, and Naver Chairman Lee Hae-jin will meet with NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang in the United States. The meeting is expected to take place in a roundtable format near Silicon Valley in the U.S. this week, with the 24th being the most likely date.

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei are also mentioned as possible attendees. If the meeting takes place, participants will cover areas such as storage, GPUs, and generative AI services in the AI market.

This meeting takes place prior to the availability of NVIDIA’s next-generation AI platform, the Vera Rubin system. As production of the next-generation GPUs begins, stakeholders involved in HBM4 memory supply, AI data center construction, and cloud infrastructure will participate in the discussions.

Last month, Samsung Electronics discussed with NVIDIA the HBM4 supply schedule and volume, wafer foundry collaboration, and joint development of the next-generation HBM. SK plans to build a gigawatt-scale AI factory and AI cloud based on NVIDIA’s platform, with its first launch scheduled for next year in Korea; Naver has also disclosed its vision of collaborating with NVIDIA to build a gigawatt-scale global AI factory.
