As reported by HashNews, the Russian Central Bank stated that while domestic investment in crypto derivatives is rising, it does not pose a risk to the financial system. Data from the second and third quarters of 2025 shows Russian households invested approximately 3.7 billion rubles ($47.3 million) in crypto-based derivatives, including some linked to Russian bonds tied to digital asset values. Most individual investors on the Moscow Exchange held crypto-linked futures contracts worth no more than 500,000 rubles ($6,400), with the largest contributions coming from a few major players holding open positions exceeding 100 million rubles ($1.28 million). Additionally, Russian citizens' trading volume on foreign crypto exchanges dropped 18% in Q2-Q3 2025 compared to the previous two quarters.
