Derived from FinBold, Ripple has been managing its XRP holdings through a time-locked escrow system since 2017. As of late 2025, approximately 35 billion XRP remain in escrow, with around 300 million XRP released monthly. If the current pace continues, the remaining tokens could be fully unlocked by 2035. However, not all released XRP will immediately enter the market, as many may stay in Ripple-controlled wallets or be used for partnerships. The staggered release helps maintain market stability, though larger or unexpected releases could temporarily affect price dynamics. XRP is currently trading at $2.16, down over 3% in the last 24 hours.
