In accordance with FinBold, Ripple executed its monthly XRP release on December 1, 2025, unlocking 1 billion XRP but relocking 700 million in escrow between 1:12 am and 1:14 am UTC on December 2. The remaining 300 million XRP will support liquidity and institutional demand. Despite a broader crypto market downturn, XRP rebounded 6.94% to $2.13 on the day, driven by regulatory progress, including a new Major Payment Institution (MPI) license in Singapore, and strong inflows into U.S. spot XRP ETFs. Grayscale’s upcoming ETF decision and RLUSD custody arrangements also contributed to renewed market interest.
