Ripple Labs has secured $300 million in funding from Korean firms VivoPower International PLC and Lean Ventures, targeting institutional adoption in South Korea. The deal offers discounted equity access to local institutional investors, including exposure to XRP. VivoPower will oversee share acquisitions, while Lean Ventures handles the investment structure. South Korea, home to the world’s largest XRP holdings, could see stronger real-world assets (RWA) news flow from this move. The funding may shift regional digital asset strategies and deepen Ripple’s ties with Korean investors.
