Derived from NewsBTC, Ripple announced a major regulatory upgrade in Singapore on December 1, 2025, expanding its Major Payment Institution (MPI) license to allow a fully regulated, end-to-end payments platform. The upgrade enables Ripple to streamline cross-border money transfers, expand its infrastructure, and provide faster, more transparent settlements. The company also secured $500 million in funding in November 2025, valuing it at $40 billion, which will be used to scale payment infrastructure and expand its stablecoin program. Ripple is leveraging strategic partnerships, including one with Bahrain Fintech Bay, to run pilot programs and establish liquidity corridors in the Gulf region. XRP and Ripple’s stablecoin RLUSD are embedded into the system, consolidating complex cross-border processes into a fast, compliant, and transparent environment.
