According to an official post from Resolv Labs, in response to the illegal minting vulnerability incident that occurred on March 22, 2026, the team has permanently removed approximately 46 million out of the 80 million illegally minted USR tokens (about 57%). The specific measures include: approximately 9 million USR tokens were burned via two transactions on the day of the incident; approximately 36 million USR tokens held in wstUSR form were added to a blacklist via a contract upgrade, though execution is subject to a 72-hour time lock due to contractual constraints; and all remaining USR tokens held by the attacker have been destroyed. Currently, no transferable or exchangeable illicit assets remain in the attacker-related addresses. Additionally, on March 24, Resolv Labs sent an on-chain message to the attacker’s address, providing a pathway for fund recovery; the investigation is ongoing.
